- Updating and maintaining agency organizational charts.
- Coordinating between department divisions to ensure real-time updates to employee office location/seating chart trackers, to ensure updated facilities information for HR and security purposes. This will include ensuring real time updates to employee assignments, including job titles, office and room assignments, supervisor assignments, etc.
- Provide project management support for agency real-estate projects, including movement of staff, IT equipment, furniture.
- Provide administrative and project management support to agency leadership in office moves and related facilities needs.
- Maintenance of the team's onboarding/offboarding shared email account.
- Coordination with various agency divisions to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of all staff.
- Conducting exit interviews with offboarding staff.
- Assistance with ad-hoc hiring reporting and other special projects.

Description: Our client, a local Rhode Island municipality, is looking for a candidate to join the team responsible for the internal personnel/HR responsibilities of the agency. The DHS Admin Team is responsible for the tracking and maintenance of 770 full time positions, this includes: managing all stages of the recruitment process, interviewing, and recommending candidates, facilitating recruitment processes for all agency programs and divisions, liaising on employee relations, and more. We are looking for a candidate who is experienced with Microsoft Office products, most importantly with Excel. The individual hired for this role will be responsible for:
Required education/experience: Bachelor's degree preferred. At least two years' experience working in a related field or role. Preference for candidate familiar with State government and the unique challenges government faces in Human Resources and recruitment.
