- Support managers in strategic planning efforts related to staffing levels and requirements.

- Track recruitment activity and other metrics to ensure a qualified diverse applicant pool.
- Build and foster relationships with prospective candidates for future vacancies.
- Provide guidance and advice to management and staff on recruitment and selection issues.
- Create and maintain recruitment SOPs to ensure consistent, efficient processes.
- Assist with development of training programs. Conduct recruitment related trainings; serve as SME for college-wide forums and meetings.

- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

- Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Psychology, Business Administration, Labor Relations, Human Resources Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university. An equivalent combination of education, training, certification and/or experience that provides the required knowledge and expertise to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted.
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience with principles and practices of Human Resources Management and the operations of an organization.
- Thorough knowledge of recruitment principles and practices to include employee value proposition, branding and sourcing, employment laws and regulations, policies and procedures ,employment benefits and compensation.
- Federal, state and local laws applicable to Human Resources.
- SHRM or PHR Certification preferred
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Experience with high volume and full-cycle recruiting.
- Experience working with various social media platforms to source and recruit candidates.
- Ability to create and interpret recruitment reports and metrics.
- Knowledge of varies functional units within HR and how they interconnect.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact well with people in all levels of the organization.
- Experience working at a higher education institute.
- Work will entail the individual to be able to concentrate and pay attention for long periods of time. The environment is indoors in an office setting.
