Position Summary

Key Accountabilities

You are required to operate within the BuffWater's QHSE, human resources, and standard operating procedures
Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance guidelines
Customer policies and procedures
Adhere to all BuffWater's policies, procedures and guidelines, report all hazards, near misses and events to your supervisor / manager immediately.
Comply with the requirements of BuffWater's QHSE Management System.
Maintain a high standard of work quality through accuracy and efficiency when completing tasks
Ensure that all company property is used in accordance with the correct procedures.
Display a positive attitude towards the company, clients, and coworkers
Ensure that cooperation and respect is always demonstrated to customers, vendors, and work colleagues
Ability to accept responsibility and make decisions
Ensure that tasks are completed on time through efficient organization and planning

Position Responsibilities

Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation programs, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HRrelated matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records, including personnel files, HRIS data, and compliance documentation.
Conduct HRrelated training sessions for employees and managers as needed.
Assist in the preparation and delivery of HRrelated reports and analytics to management.
Stay uptodate with changes in employment laws and regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals and objectives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in an HR generalist role, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC guidelines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
