    SUMMARY:


    Manage the West Retail accounts with a strong focus on growth and asset management while regularly monitoring and acting on account health.

    This position requires a strong blend of customer focus, autonomous work and exceptional communication skills, analytical acumen, and the ability to consistently drive results and push boundaries.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Exceed assigned volume budget through management of Reusable Packaging Containers (RPCs) utilization through compliance & new commodity conversions.

    Drive the implementation of the agreed growth plans through conversion of produce commodities to RPCs, tracking and progressing opportunities in Sales Force.

    Work closely with Retail contacts to understand new needs and trends and support the conversion of new commodities into RPCs to maximize efficiencies.

    In conjunction with Supply Chain and Operations, internally and with the Retail customers, optimize the reverse logistics network through compliant RPC returns from store to return DC and back to IFCO.

    Support communication and training (i.e., presentations, workshops, webinars, letters...) to increase awareness of the RPC Program at Retail, Grower community and internally at IFCO.

    Improve forecast sharing and planning among Retail, growers and IFCO, to optimize RPC utilization and service levels.

    Collaborate and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Grower Sales, Operations, Asset Management, Customer Service, Finance to align all aspects, KPIs and measures of the Produce RPC Program with each Retail Account.

    Develop and maintain strong and wide network across the Retailer(s) organization (Produce Merchandising and Sourcing, SC, Retail Ops., ESG,...) to ensure the RPC Program remains a strategic priority.

    QUALIFICATIONS &


    EXPERIENCE:
    4-year degree in Business, Agriculture, Supply Chain & Logistics, or related.
    Sales / Account Management experience, preferably in the commercial retail, packaging or fresh food supply chain

    SKILLS &


    KNOWLEDGE:
    Highly motivated and self-started individual with a 'can do' attitude and ownership of responsibilities/ accounts.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Results and solutions-oriented style with demonstrated strength in collaboration and problem solving.
    Proven ability to build strong trusted working relationships with internal and external business partners.
    Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to leverage data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and process improvements.

    Computer literacy required, including proficiency in standard business applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Sales Force.
    Must be geographically based California (Southern California, preferred)

    Travel from 20%
