    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - Retail Office Solutions

    FULL-TIME IN-OFFICE, ALPHARETTA, GA

    POSITION SUMMARY

    Prospect, qualify, present, secure, and grow new accounts. Strategically target the Retail Office solutions market. Nurture long-term relationships. Convert warm leads into new business. Establish your presence in a niche market. The right candidate for this role will have an established history of proven sales performance, with at least three years of selling specifically to the retail office solutions market. The candidate will work onsite in the Alpharetta office with flex for travel.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing, driving reseller sales and post-sales service.
    • Prospect for potential clients using various direct methods such as LinkedIn, association lists, Web search, referrals, and indirect methods such as networking trade shows.
    • Ability to seek out and speak with multiple influencers and decision-makers in assigned accounts.
    • Specific titles to talk to: Store owner, Sales manager, Account executive (s) selling for the franchise store, Production manager, and Store associate.
    • Ability to work toward establishing rapport-building relationships and making product and solution suggestions based on the store's specific needs.
    • Required to meet daily call quotas with at least a 30% ratio of time spent speaking with decision-makers.
    • Dynamic sales methods: phone, video, email, field visits, webinars, and showcase days.
    • Draft, present, and close senior managers and decision-makers
    • Hunter sales mentality (landing new clients and resellers) and herd (training and motivating them to sell).
    • Strategize to build and execute lead-generation methods.
    • Update daily sales pipeline with notes on prospects and reseller interactions.
    • Forecast likely deals and annual sales volumes.
    • Desire to be an expert on your product and industry.
    • Willingness to be autonomous and deliver results with little oversight.
    • Positive and professional presentation, attitude, and communication skills.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Proven experience with measurable sales results.
    • High call volume per day in past business development positions.
    • Ability to take sales rejections or nos and convert them into orders.
    • Closure rate of at least 75% with measurable sales performance. Accepting assigned KSOs to meet corporate sales plan.
    • Experience attending trade shows and proven sales closure rate at shows worked.
    • Experience selling to the Retail Office Solutions market.
    • Selling a physical & Tangible product, not SaaS.

    BONUS EXPERIENCE:

    • Selling actual equipment and consumables.
    • Selling Added Value Prop Selling Solutions, also known as Unburdening, e.g., selling products the company manufactures in the Alpharetta, GA facility.
    • Financial and Analytical Skills to sell return on investment.
    • Experience with Pipedrive or other CRM systems.
    • Understanding of PandaDoc.
    • Ability to travel up to 60%
