    Description

    As a Proposal & Bid Manager, you will lead and manager the development of the technical solutions to customers business problems and lead the business vision in solving those problems in supporting the Sales and Business Development organizations in proposal development opportunities.

    Responsibilities

    Leading a team to draft and issuing technical solutions for clients

    Designing and costing solutions to address customer specific business problems

    Ensure that proposals formulate the optimal way to bring together the customers business needs and technical solutions in a manner that supports the customers long-term goals

    Representing technical solutions within a clear concise customer focused proposal

    Leading cross-functional teams and establishing the appropriate internal / external resources to drive opportunity solutions that minimize risk and maximize business margins

    Driving engagement and transparency into the organization

    Collaborating with Operations and Engineering to ensure smooth transition and understanding of proposed solution and customer values offered

    Position Requirements

    Must have a good understanding of power generation, specifically gas/steam turbines and generator excitation systems and DCS(distributed control systems)

    Leadership skills, exceptional experience leading teams to win bids

    Bachelors degree or equivalent

    Experience writing executive level summaries to position business value and customer outcomes

    Proven experience in solution development, technical writing and proposal creation

    10-15 or more years of power experience

    Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

    Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

    Travel 25%
