    POSITION SUMMARY
    Join a growing team of engineers, geologists, and project managers specializing in subsurface salt cavern and injection well design, drilling, and maintenance; environmental regulatory compliance; and soil and groundwater investigation and remediation services. Strata's clients include midstream oil and gas, manufacturing, chemical, and heavy industrial clients.

    Applicants must be able to work within a team environment and independently and uphold professional ethics.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Procurement and cost control throughout the lifecycle of projects:
      • Track project budgets and report updates to Strata Project Managers.
      • Prepare Purchase Orders for service providers.
      • Issue Change Orders to service providers.
      • Compile and invoice project hours and expenses to clients.
      • Make entries in client invoicing systems to initiate accounts receivable.
      • Manage service providers in Veriforce and vendor compliance.
    • Maintain compliance with health and safety programs, i.e., Veriforce, ISNet, Avetta, etc.
    • Maintain compliance with drug and alcohol consortiums, i.e., DISA, NCMS, TPS Alert, etc.
    • Maintain client site compliance of personnel and providers.
    • Coordinate, review and provide input on client and service provider contracts.
    • Assist with maintenance and renewal of business insurance policies such as general liability, auto, worker's compensation, property, etc.
      • Obtain and provide certificates of insurance (COIs) for clients.
    • Maintain corporate electronic and paper records.
    • Office administration responsibilities including, but not limited to:
      • Assist with routine office/equipment maintenance, supply orders, etc.
      • Review, format, and bind outgoing proposals, reports, permit applications, etc. for accuracy, consistency, and grammar.

    MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

    • Experience: Three (3) or more years preferred.
    • Education: Associate's degree required. A bachelor's degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
    • Required/Preferred Skills:
      • Health and safety programs
      • Safety consortium or enterprise system management
      • Contract management
      • Business insurance
      • Records management
    • Computer Skills: A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office is a must. Experience using safety consortiums such as Veriforce, ISNet, Avetta, DISA, NCMS, etc. is preferred.
    • Interpersonal: Must be able to effectively understand and communicate business contract requirements, insurance terms and conditions, and health and safety program requirements to clients, co-workers, and regulators in a manner that can be understood by all.
    • Confidentiality: Must be able to work under attorney/client privilege and respect and uphold Strata and client confidentiality.
    • Written Communication: Effective writer for the preparation of reports, plans, procedures, memos, letters, etc.
    • Workload Management: Able to prioritize and successfully accomplish multiple tasks at once.
    • Personality Attributes: Must be detail oriented and have an analytical mentality.
      • Self-motivated within the freedom of a growing company.
      • Meets or beats goals, deadlines, and commitments.
      • Punctual and communicative.
      • Manages pressure and stress well.

    • Physical Activity: Must be able to climb stairs. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
    • Transportation: Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
    • Travel: Must be willing and able to travel occasionally.
    • Authorization to Work: Must be a US citizen.
    • Screenings: This position requires initial and ongoing background checks and drug and alcohol screenings.
