Here's what you'll do day-to-day:

Responsible for performing critical tax functions under the general supervision of the Tax Manager
Monitor client support software (Zendesk) and respond to inquiries within 48 hours
Setup new clients in tax software and import payroll history; perform balancing procedures to ensure data is accurate, by verifying all tax accounts are setup correctly
Prepare Federal and State amended tax returns and assist with the process for multi-state payroll tax filings and reconciliations
Makes daily tax payments to various tax agencies

Here's what we're looking for:

Must have an accounting, finance, business or tax degree
Strong organization and follow up skills providing analytical support in payroll tax
Highly effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas and concepts
Payroll tax experience
CPA candidate eligible
