- Responsible for performing critical tax functions under the general supervision of the Tax Manager
- Monitor client support software (Zendesk) and respond to inquiries within 48 hours
- Setup new clients in tax software and import payroll history; perform balancing procedures to ensure data is accurate, by verifying all tax accounts are setup correctly
- Prepare Federal and State amended tax returns and assist with the process for multi-state payroll tax filings and reconciliations
- Makes daily tax payments to various tax agencies
- Must have an accounting, finance, business or tax degree
- Strong organization and follow up skills providing analytical support in payroll tax
- Highly effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas and concepts
- Payroll tax experience
- CPA candidate eligible
