    Description

    Must-haves

    • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
    • 3+ years of strong Sales/Business development experience related to power distribution or industrial automation (ex. power monitoring, switchgear, SCADA systems, HMI, PLC, electrical distribution, etc.)
    • Experience working with large commercial/industrial customers
    • Although not a people manager directly, have to lead a team effectively
    • This is a self-starter role, will be made intros to key players/business units in their territory and its their job to drive business

    Day-to-Day

    An employer is looking for a Business Development Specialist to sit in the Philadelphia or Allentown, PA area. Will be selling power monitoring equipment to commercial/industrial based customers. Need to have software/hardware experience including controls. Will work with customers to support complex solutions, will work with internal team of solution architects, inside sales, quotation specialists etc. to deliver solutions. Will build relationships with clients to influence design of their electrical distribution system. Meet with end users, onsite doing site walks, developing relationships. Will sit remote, must be comfortable with 60-70% travel.
