Summary:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:


  • Facilitate impactful, technical & skill-based trainings & workshops, managing and maintaining the training calendar, ensuring both continuous learning opportunities and technology needs of participants are met.
  • Leverage instructional design skills to develop a diverse range of instructor-led and virtual courses, simulations and demonstrations, including training presentations, job aids, and gamification, to support various learning modalities
  • Oversee & champion New Hire onboarding orientation delivery & content design
  • Promote training opportunities for employees in a compelling way that provides all necessary information and entices participation
  • Remain up to date on current standard operating procedures/policies & update training content & delivery where applicable
  • Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency across teams.
  • Ensure that all learning content aligns with the organization's goals, values, and policies, while incorporating industry best practices and innovative learning techniques
  • Monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of trainings through data analysis and feedback, making continuous improvements to enhance the learning experience & outcomes
  • Support L&D Manager & Technical Trainers with required trainings: training documentation, scheduling, logistic planning, design of content & facilitation of training
  • Provide instructional design support to key learning and development delivery projects
  • Develop training aids such as Quick Reference Guides (QRG), Infographics, and facilitator guides
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend learning management systems (LMS) or other learning platforms to support the organization's training needs
  • Serve as an administrator & manage all eLearning functions in the Learning Management System and other technology platforms to deliver, track, and evaluate training programs
  • Facilitates delivery of training by reserving and setting up needed training rooms; scheduling training times with attendees; preparing and distributing training aids such as handouts; and performing other related tasks
  • Establish mentorship program for new hires
  • Keep abreast of innovative training trends, developments, and best practices to enhance learning & engagement

  • Proven experience in previous training roles, with a strong track record of curriculum/content creation
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to manage multiple projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with the desired learning, behavioral, or business outcome
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, onthejob or in classroom training, elearning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
  • Passion for training and development, with a demonstrated ability to engage and inspire audiences
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation and communication skills, with a natural charisma that captivates and motivates learners
  • Strong instructional design skills with the ability to create engaging and impactful training content for various learning modalities
  • Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and elearning tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively & foster strong partnerships with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent time management, decisionmaking and organizational skills.
  • A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company's success.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office

Compensation:


  • Learning and Development Specialist will receive an annual base salary
  • Paid vacation will be based on the company tenure guidelines
  • Holiday pay will be based on the observed company holiday

Pay:
$50, $60,000.00 per year
