    Our client, a multinational law firm, is seeking a BD Coordinator to support their team

    Business Development Coordination

    • Work closely with business development managers to provide responsive, effective assistance in executing business development requests, projects, and initiatives. Develop an understanding of relevant practice and industry groups and partners' preferences, making recommendations for process improvements.
    • Edit, update, and maintain marketing materials for practice groups, such as descriptions, attorney biographies, and website content. Assist in tracking matters in the experience database and creating descriptions and tombstones for pitches and marketing collateral. Draft new collateral as required.
    • Assist in preparing pitches and RFPs by conducting research, coordinating collateral, and compiling materials. Ensure close coordination with the Marketing Pitch Hub to produce accurate and well-prepared final products. Track results and prepare responsive reports and analyses with recommendations for enhancing effectiveness.
    • Create dynamic PowerPoint presentations for partner pitches and internal communications.
    • Conduct requested research using firm and online tools to gather intelligence on prospective targets, industries, markets, etc.
    • Coordinate and provide supporting research for speaking engagements and sponsorship opportunities.
    • Participate in the production and presentation of client development seminars, managing details, logistics, communications, and follow-up to maximize business development opportunities.
    • Collaborate with Marketing Creative Services to apply brand standards, utilize firm templates, prepare files for print production, and conduct press checks.
    • Assist in completing timely awards submissions and submissions to directories and ranking authorities, coordinating with awards and ranking team members.
    • Maintain current Salesforce database entries (pitch, RFP tracking, contacts for mailing lists) for assigned practices and industry groups.

    Collaboration with Marketing Managers and Staff

    • Identify improvement opportunities by collecting and proactively sharing information with peers and other Marketing team members.
    • Work closely with managers and staff across Marketing to ensure strong intra-departmental communication, client service, and seamless deployment of marketing programs. Develop effective relationships with other offices to facilitate business development and marketing events and services.

    Awards & Submissions

    1. Assist with managing the firm's awards and submissions calendar/deadlines, coordinating reminder notifications, and updating meetings with BD and other stakeholders. Manage the uploading and archiving of submissions and references.
    2. Provide additional support for awards and submissions as required.

    Client Service, Confidentiality, and Safety

    • Uphold the Firm's Client Service Principles consistently in leadership, teamwork, work product, and personal interaction.
    • Ensure compliance with the Firm's Information Handling Policy, including safeguarding confidential and personal information, and promptly reporting any suspected breaches.
    • Adhere to the Firm's General Safety Practices and any specific safety protocols for the department and building.
