Full Circle Communities, Inc., is a mission-driven non-profit developer and manager of affordable housing. We achieve our mission collaboratively – with our residents, our communities, our industry partners, and our fellow employees.

We look for committed and enthusiastic individuals who are energized by our mission and the challenges of creating and operating service-rich affordable housing. We invest in our team members' growth as we expect them to invest in the growth of the organization.

Full Circle Communities, Inc. needs a pro like you to serve as Community Manager to ensure the efficient operations, management and performance of our 36-unit affordable apartment community in Chicago; Brainerd Park Apartments.

This position is part of a "management team", which will require rotation between all properties in the region, including: Brainerd Park, Brainerd Senior Center, Lansing South, and Torrence Place.

The Community Manager is a position of critical importance and essential for the seamless operation, growth and stability of our organization. The position is responsible for the administrative, physical and financial oversight of the property, as well as the supervision of all property personnel and maintenance staff. Community Managers also act as the first point of contact for our residents.

As the Community Manager you will play a vital role in the success of your property. You must be committed to providing a high level of service to your residents. The onsite Community Manager directly oversees staffing, marketing, maintenance, and customer relations.

An effective Community Manager must not only be a prudent team leader, but a strong business manager for the property as well. They must possess the professionalism to interact with all levels of management and personnel, and the ability to work well and communicate with various personality types. As team leaders, Community Managers must create work environments that motivate both office and maintenance personnel to reach their highest potential.

Every day we'll rely on you to achieve financial objectives through rent collection, managing delinquencies, and processing recertifications, interims, and EIV reports. Your sales and marketing savvy will generate new leases by conducting informative and personalized tours of the community. You will build deep customer loyalty by consistently establishing positive interactions with potential and current residents. You will work closely with the maintenance staff to ensure that the community's interior and exterior are pristine.

To thrive in this role, you should have a passion for creating an inspiring, engaging and vibrant community. You will work independently, using your organizational and customer service skills, along with previous property management experience, to create a homely community for future and current residents. You are responsible, quick-thinking, and eager to grow with Full Circle.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1 year experience in multifamily property management
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Strong administrative, organizational, customer service and communication skills
    • Computer savvy; YARDI or similar property software experience preferred
    • Tax Credit Certification (or to be obtained within 120 days of hire)
    • LIHTC experience
    • Budgeting and variance
    • Competency in Word and Excel
    • Assertive collection abilities
    • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle

The Company offers a competitive salary range of $55K - $60K, plus an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, Simple IRA, PTO, paid parental leave, accident and critical illness, short- and long-term disability, and more.

Full Circle Communities is driven to expand access to quality affordable housing as we move toward our goal of becoming a leading national non-profit. We invest in communities by meeting the aspirations and unique circumstances of our residents.
