Parkway Construction, a top 400 ENR firm with over 40 years in the construction industry has an immediate need for a Business Development Associate

    Our ideal Candidate:
    Capable of developing a strategic plan to penetrate and grow a book of business5+ years of networking / relationships in the construction industryKnowledge of Commercial Market Segments/Sub-Segments/Project Type (Retail, Restaurant, Hotel, Healthcare
    • Ambulatory Services, etc.)
    Successful track record of accessing how customer organizations are structured and positioning accordinglyCapable of producing inorganic prospects and properly pursuing opportunitiesAbility to determine what the customer values and deliver value propositions that differentiateDiligent at debriefing win/loss with customers and internal operationsDeep experience of presenting RFQ/RFP in interview settings with customersUnderstands a service-based sales cycle (extended cycle)Coordinates well across business functions with preconstruction and operationsAbility to write/coordinate RFP/RFQs and prepare for interviewsAbility travel nationally 25 -40% of the time.

    Works well on teams4 year degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or equivalent experiencePresentation skills that represent the company's core values.

    This position is Based out of our corporate office in Lewisville TX but candidate must be able to travelwww.parkwayconstruction.
