    Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:


    The Education and Development Associate is responsible for the daily coordination of the Education and Development department and additional team members as needed.

    The education and development associate collaborates with the development specialist to ensure successful employee development training is launched.
    Assist the development specialist in preparing backpacks, binders, calendar invites for new team members and prepares materials for training.
    Acts as a backup administrator for internal and external user access and various computer systems. Maintains a working knowledge of each system to allow them to complete basic troubleshooting and establish system access. Works on user access projects as assigned.

    Provides necessary pre-work and custom curriculum and assists in creating schedules and training plans for each employee and any job-related materials needed.

    Supports the facilitation of training check-ins for employees as they work towards independent practice.

    This includes but is not limited to training plan review, audit process, and competencies for more than 75% of the organization.

    Assists the development specialist in coordinating skills month, competency assessments, reinforcement training, and company-wide training that in-house resources or partners facilitate.

    Provides support for the learning management system functions, including assistance in creating and deploying job-specific training modules.
    Leads the procurement of supplies and materials in the simulation lab. This includes but is not limited to solutions and technologies to provide a standardized learning experience. Will support the maintenance of the state-of-the-art simulation lab and SIM Man 3G.
    Leads the procurement of supplies and materials for the Education and Development training program.
    Facilitates room set up and break down of education training.
    Supports new education and development initiatives.
    Performs other duties as assigned.

    The incumbent will have access to confidential material and is required to use discretion with this information and comply with STA Confidentiality policy.


    Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
    High school diploma or equivalent required.
    Associate degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
    One year of general office experience is required.

    Qualifications and Skills:
    Knowledge of Windows and MS Office 365
    Knowledge of standard office equipment (i.e., copy machine, computer, fax machine, etc.)
    Direct experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
    Excellent communication skills are required.
    Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and to represent the organization publicly.
    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
    Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, and memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.
    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team required.
    Ability to cope with high levels of stress and able to handle a heavy workload.

    Ability to travel in light and commercial aircraft or drive his/her personal auto in order to meet all job duties and responsibilities.
