    Overview:

    We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and observant Community Retail Scout to join our team. This unique role is tailored for individuals who love being on the move, diving into different neighborhoods, and have an eye for identifying potential retail opportunities. Your main task will be to traverse various areas, pinpointing neighborhoods according to our targeted needs, to spot potential spaces for our retail expansion. This position is perfect for someone with a passion for exploration and discovery, without requiring a formal background in real estate.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough explorations of various neighborhoods, focusing on areas identified according to our specific retail needs.
    • Identify and document potential retail spaces, including upcoming vacancies, current tenants looking to exit, and other opportunities for new store locations.
    • Engage with local communities and businesses to gather insights and information relevant to potential retail opportunities.
    • Collect detailed information on promising retail spaces, such as location specifics, dimensions, current condition, and contact details for landlords or tenants.
    • Regularly report back to the office team with findings, providing a concise overview of potential retail locations and key information to aid in decision-making.
    • Facilitate initial contact and help arrange meetings between our team and property owners or current tenants to discuss possible leasing arrangements.

    Requirements:

    • Deep familiarity with a variety of neighborhoods and a keen sense for identifying areas that match our retail expansion goals.
    • Exceptional observational skills and attention to detail.
    • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, able to communicate effectively with diverse community members.
    • Willingness to engage in extensive driving and capable of staying energized and focused while on the move.
    • Basic proficiency in documentation, reporting, and communication.
    • A proactive, positive approach to community interaction and a genuine eagerness to assist in the company's growth.
    • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
