    Description
    • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the Payroll team ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing and compliance with SOX requirements, Corporation policies, federal, state, and local regulations
    • Analyze payroll tax issues and provide recommendations for solutions relating, but not limited to employee mobility, reciprocal taxation, stock taxation and reporting, inpats and expats, employer provided fringe benefits, and local taxation
    • Ensure that all federal, state, and local payroll taxes are correctly withheld, reported, paid, and filed in compliance with laws and regulations
    • Ensure the accurate, timely review and reconciliation of federal, state, and local taxable wages and withholding tax, unemployment tax, and disability insurance tax for multiple legal entities in the U.S
      including the review of year end balancing of W-2's and related federal and state agency forms to the payroll system
    • Ensure compliance and advise management on needed actions
    • Effectively manage the delivery of excellent customer service; anticipate issues, and proactively develop solutions
    • Create and use metrics to benchmark performance and improve service delivery
    • Take charge of escalations, directing the payroll team, and guiding other departments in corrective actions
    • Implement workable and scalable solutions to business issues/problems
    • Impart lessons learned afterward to prevent future issues
    • Work with business partners to establish and adhere to payroll schedules to ensure data required for payroll processing is received timely to ensure all key processing deadlines will be met
    • Define and drive key requirements, projects, and initiatives with a high degree of quality and customer service
    • Plan, develop, and implement forward looking payroll processes/procedures and revise current processes/procedures to continuously seek improvement, improve accuracy, create optimal efficiency, and provide best in class customer service to our employees
