    Description

    Position: IT Support Technician

    Location: New York (Monday – Thursday)


    A leading entertainment company is seeking an IT Operations Specialist to join their team and provide on-site desktop support. Working closely with N-Tech Operations and Support Specialists, this technician will deliver top-notch assistance to the company's workforce. Responsibilities include computer provisioning, hardware deployment, workstation setups, inventory support, conference room technology assistance, and addressing end-user issues and requests.


    Roles and Responsibilities:


    • Primary role: Assist N-Tech Operations and Support team on site with operational and secondary support requests
    • Hardware equipment retrieval and disposal through e-cycle program
    • Termination technology recovery procedures
    • Perform technical sweeps and basic troubleshooting of conference room and audio-visual equipment
    • System preparation for various devices including macOS, Windows 11, Linux, ChromeOS, iOS, and Android
    • Deployment of computer hardware on-site and for remote locations
    • Collaborate with N-Tech IT team to enhance user experience and workflows
    • Remote support through N-Tech channels
    • Application Access
    • Telecom support and deployment
    • Onboarding and new hire support
    • Onsite AV events support
    • Basic Google Apps training
    • Swing space support
    • Mobile device support
    • Printer Support
    • Large format and media display support
    • Other technical duties as assigned


    Skill Requirement:

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
    • Experience troubleshooting productivity software and conference room technology
    • Hardware support for various operating systems
    • Customer-facing IT or desktop support experience
    • Preferred executive support experience
    • Fundamentals in networking protocols and troubleshooting
    • Experience supporting mobile devices and printers
    • Knowledge of ticketing systems, data security best practices, and management tools
    • Working knowledge of audio/visual events technologies
