Job Summary
This exciting opportunity will play a key role in developing, growing, and converting The Dagny Boston's social media audiences. You will be responsible for creating original text and video content, managing posts and responding to followers. You will manage The Dagny Boston's image through social media in a cohesive way to achieve our marketing goals.
Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of popular social media platforms and their features.
Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and shareable content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using Adobe creative suite or similar photo editing tools for content creation, general use of Microsoft Suite, Social Media Management Tool familiarity, and native social media platforms required.
Analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and adapt strategies accordingly.
Familiarity with social media advertising and paid promotion.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Self-starter with high energy, and who can work in a fast-paced environment to meet objectives
Prior experience with copywriting.
Basic social-first photography and video skills preferred.
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
A passion for hospitality and an understanding of the independent hotel industry.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement for The Dagny.
Create, curate, and manage all published content across various social media platforms.
Monitor and respond to online conversations, reviews, and comments in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze social media metrics and provide regular reports to track the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions to drive audience participation.
Cultivate relationships with influencers and establish partnerships to amplify brand reach.
Work closely with digital agency of record to manage social media advertising budgets and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
Stay informed about platform algorithm changes and adjust strategies accordingly.

The Dagny Boston is a new independent hotel in downtown Boston at 89 Broad Street.

Designed as Boston's first Art Deco "skyscraper," The Dagny Boston occupies the former Batterymarch Building, fresh from a $39 million renovation across 403 guest rooms and 7,000 square ft of flexible meeting and event space.

The hotel features two onsite restaurants, Fin Point Oyster Bar & Grill and Tradesman Coffee Shop & Lounge, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center featuring Technogym and Peloton equipment.

Perfectly situated in the heart of downtown Boston in the Financial District, The Dagny Boston is within a 5 minute walk from Boston's waterfront, Rose Kennedy Greenway and Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
