- Hire, train, motivate, coach, and evaluate accounts payable team members
- Develop, implement, improve, and enforce policies and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency
- Build and maintain relationships with employees across the organization and vendors
- Oversee full cycle AP activities, reviewing all invoices and payment runs, to ensure that they are completed accurately and on time
- Lead the accounts payable month-end closing process within predefined timelines
- Support the year end and interim audit process as required
- Manage Fastly's vendor master database, including approving all new vendors and changes to existing vendors
- Ensure all supplier statements are fully reconciled on a monthly basis
- Provide regular updates to leadership using meaningful metrics and KPIs to aid in monitoring the performance of the team
- Annual 1099 and 1042 reporting
- 10+ years AP experience with a minimum of 6 years managing a team at a public company
- Extensive knowledge of accounting and management principles and accounts payable procedures, including global invoice processing, VAT, GST and local tax withholdings in a multinational corporate environment
- International AP experience
- Experience working with international 3rd party accounts payable processors
- Experience with SOX and internal controls as it relates to AP
- A Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in accounting, finance, or business administration
- System savvy - Coupa, NetSuite, and G-Suite experience preferred
- Detail oriented individual who can track, manage and course correct activities of the team as needed
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with organizational and time management skills
- Highly motivated, collaborative, hard-working, and able to work in a fast paced, informal, and often ambiguous environment

Fastly is looking for an experienced, organized and service-oriented Accounts Payable Manager who is passionate about the details to support our growing organization and provide strong leadership to our accounts payable team to ensure that the department runs smoothly. Reporting to the Director of Global Accounts Payable, this position will be focused on optimizing department processes and building lasting relationships with others within and outside of the organization. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable, analytical, and decisive with excellent leadership and communication skills. Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $111,000 to $154,170.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly's equity and discretionary bonus programs.
