Position Overview
This position will report to President of Layn USA and develop key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans for Layn – natural botanical extracts with major focus on Nutraceutical industry, may cover other industry in food, beverage and cosmetics. The successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve established financial targets. The Regional Sales Manager will also be responsible for hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends.
Task and Responsibilities
1. Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base, responsible for botanical extracts sales targets and account development milestones as to be determined and agreed on an ongoing basis, as consistent with the company's ascribed goals and annual budgeting.
2. Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
4. Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
5. Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
6. Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
7. Use CRM to manage accounts and well maintain customer files, quotes
8. Participate main marketing activities, including but not limited to, tradeshows, conferences, digital marketing to promote company's products
9. Facilitate all other related activities, including but not limited to, regulatory approval, technical research, etc to build a strong product portfolio
Education or Equivalent: (Minimum required to perform job) Bachelor's Degree Desired
