Job DescriptionAlphaProTech, Inc. (APT) is an organization that develops, manufactures, and markets innovative disposable and limited-use protective apparel products for the Industrial, Cleanroom, Controlled Environment, Medical and Dental markets.
OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
AlphaProTech is seeking an Area Manager that will be able to meet or exceed corporate revenue objectives on an annual basis with strategic National, Regional & Local Distributors. The Area Manager will also be responsible for developing, managing, and leading strategic relationships with APT-Distributor end-users.
The Area Manager will have responsibility for expanding APT's product line throughout the Cleanroom, Controlled Environment, and General Industrial marketplace where applicable. You will be capable of utilizing all sales forecasting and sales metrics tools as well as analyze sales reporting in an effort to maximize revenue growth for your respective market.
MAJOR GOALS:
Effectively secure and manage long-term relationships and reputation for APT with strategic National, Regional & Local Distributors (field selling resources), as well as with end-users resulting in incremental revenue growth while maximizing gross profit objectives.
Provide leadership and demonstrative selling skills in specified territory and perform with a professional level of integrity across the marketplace and across business units within APT.
SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate will have demonstrated sales experience in working with large scale National, Regional & Local Distributors as well as large, multi-site end-users with an emphasis on building long-term, stratified relationships in said marketplace or a similar industry.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 4-5 years experience direct / indirect sales in the (Protective Apparel) Cleanroom, Controlled Environment, and General Industrial marketplace or within a similar industry. You must possess outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
The successful candidate will most likely possess a BA/BS undergraduate degree with an emphasis in Business, Economics, or related discipline.
High-energy with a positive outlook and able to commit to 40%-50% overnight travel.
LOCATION:
Remote position based (ideally in the So-Cal, Central Cali) or secondarily in the Western- Northwestern United States.
