We are searching for an experienced Regional Sales Manager - Southern CA at our Anaheim facility.- Territory

The regional sales manager ensures our customers are getting the right service and products, specific to their needs. This role requires a good understanding of consultative sales and solution selling. The role is responsible for developing relationships with new and existing customers in a specific geography.
The regional sales manager must have an ability to consistently follow-up and bring multi-year projects to a close, while meeting quarterly and annual performance objectives.
Primary ResponsibilitiesSales Growth
Develop and maintain good relationships in a specific territory
Support global key accounts in territory and share insights and intelligence with the global sales organization
Consistently update and work within a customer relationship management (CRM) tool
Develop new customers and close new business to meet regional territory sales growth objectives
Follow up quickly on marketing leads generated, ensure consistent messages and needs are addressed when leads are routed
Promote company products and capabilities via customer meetings, industry exhibitions and technical seminars
Develop adjacent industry relationships with companies serving healthcare manufacturers
Attend regional association meetings, networking and become member as necessary to expand Oliver's presence in the region
Interface regularly with commercial leaders regarding new product and new market opportunities
Identify target accounts and create a strategy for closing new business
Uncover price targets and competitive information
Account Maintenance
Establish a meeting cadence with top accounts, quarterly business reviews and new opportunity reviews
Establish a meeting cadence with non-top accounts, this may be indirect or direct presentations and review as necessary, especially where market intelligence suggests additional share of wallet opportunities
Understand the customer's market, financial results, and buying cycles
Manage account forecasts and assist with budget process at year end
Capture and communicate competitor activities
Maintain great customer relationships and maintain high level of customer satisfaction
Maintain marketing databases including lead follow up and maintenance from existing accounts
Communicate customer specifications and requirements to manufacturing, process engineering, production planning, graphic production areas, etc.
Work internally to negotiate accurate ship dates that are close to the customer's request date.
Expedite all customer requests for rushed deliveries and communicates schedule request changes to production planning and manufacturing departments.
Basic Qualifications
Education:
B.S. in Marketing, Sales, General Business, Engineering or closely related field.
Experience:
2+ years of successful medical device, pharmaceutical or biotechnology business development experience required.
Other Requirements:
A record of building great customer relationships
Strong presentation skills required
Strong negotiating and closing skills
Computer and business writing competency
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of medical device industry related experience, managing key accounts, and new business selling in a team environment
A mastery of sales negotiation techniques
Working Conditions
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 10lbs.
Special Requirements
Ability to travel (US and internationally)
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends
