Pay:
$65,000-$80,000 base, plus bonuses
Shift:
Full-time, office hours are 7:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Friday

Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is responsible for managing and growing assigned accounts, acquiring new accounts, and conducting professional sales calls.
The TSM must have excellent time management skills, be proficient in the use of technology, and be able to travel to regional customer job sites, Geary Pacific locations, and industry conventions as needed.
_Retail sales experience will not be considered for this role._
Responsibilities:
- Follow up on assigned leads and manage/grow accounts
- Acquire new accounts and engage with customers/prospects to create sales opportunities
- Analyze branch sales territory and plan time/activities to maximize sales results
- Acquire detailed knowledge of prospects' and customers' needs and match products/services to solve their problems
- Create bids for systems and packages of products, using other charges options where appropriate
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail while communicating customer needs/requirements to fellow employees, and use company tools and software to record specific customer information (in SMP and Mincron).
- Able to complete cycle counts, add PC codes to sales orders, and use substitute/associated items to fulfill customer requests
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in Sales (_Retail sales experience will not be considered for this role_.)
Required:
- High School diploma/GED
Required: - Driver's license/insurance with reliable transportation
Required: - 1+ years of Customer service experience
Required: - Occasional local travel within your region to customer job sites or Geary Pacific locations, or to suppliers, trade Shows, or industry conventions.
- Proficient with the use of PC, iPad, smartphone, webbased online ordering, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Must be able to learn companysupplied software like CRM tools (SMP) & ERP (Mincron)
- HVAC or related industry experience is a plus but not required we will train
- Must be a team player
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and the ability to problem solve for customers
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
- Regularly sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time
- Use foot controls for the gas pedal and brake pedal of a motor vehicle and get in/out of the motor vehicle several times per day
- Lift, carry, and handle up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Use hands and fingers to handle, grasp, and feel objects such as computer equipment and other office equipment
- Occasionally stoop or kneel to access file cabinets or office machinery
- Speak and hear well enough to exchange accurate information and extensively use eyes to shift focus from computer screens to other documents
- Work in a low to moderate noise level environment.

Geary Pacific is a Customer Service Company that also happens to be in the HVAC distribution business. We provide heating, air conditioning, and ventilation products to the Contractors that install and service the products. We have been in business for over 50 years and have over 40 locations throughout the Western United States.
Pay:
$65, $80,000.00 per year
