    Payroll Clerk

    Located in Santa Monica, 4 days onsite

    Hours: 9 am - 6 pm

    Industry: Entertainment Studio

    Contract 3+ months

    $20-25/hour, based on experience

    We are looking for a Payroll Clerk for a contract opportunity (3+ months). The interview process will be moving quickly and they are looking to have someone start ASAP.

    • Assist with the Payroll Interface from SuccessFactors to update ADP Payroll system and research and resolve any issues/errors within the interface
    • Assist with payroll processing reconciliations and audits
    • Administer and maintain employee and manager access in the NOVAtime timekeeping system
    • Respond to all employment verifications requests (written and verbal) in a timely manner
    • Maintain knowledge base and resource information for multi-state payroll processing
    • Process garnishments and benefit changes in the payroll system consistent with federal and state laws and regulations
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of payroll experience
    • Prior experience using ADP Workforce Now and/or Timekeeping/HRIS systems
    • Working knowledge of wage and hour regulations, tax laws affecting payroll, and regulations on processing withholding and support orders helpful
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal supervision and a sense of urgency
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing quality work in a timely manner
    • Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
    • Positive attitude and the ability to be proactive, resourceful, and flexible
    Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
