Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Clerk to join our team. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.


Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Calculate wages, deductions, and withholdings based on employee timesheets and other relevant data
• Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit payments to employees
• Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, leave, and overtime hours
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise
• Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee information and updates are reflected in the payroll system
• Prepare payroll reports for management as needed
• Stay uptodate with changes in payroll regulations and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Assist with other accounting tasks such as general ledger reconciliation and accounts receivable when necessary

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify discrepancies
• Knowledge of financial concepts related to payroll management
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• High level of integrity and professionalism

Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour
