    Description


    Wurzak Hotel Group is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to support our sales efforts at our gorgeous property, The Dalmar Fort Lauderdale a Tribute Portfolio Hotel by Marriott.

    As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, and ensuring the achievement of revenue targets.

    You will also be involved in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining customer relationships, and collaborating with other departments to optimize overall business performance.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hotel sales, exceptional leadership skills, Marriott brand experience, and a commitment to driving revenue.

    Establish a sense of urgency with the team to understand and achieve the needs of the hotel.
    Maintain knowledge of the competitive set and make strategy recommendations.
    Work with the sales team to communicate specific account needs to impact revenues for the hotels.
    Present to DOS, the successes and areas for opportunity within the group segment.
    Maintain a deep understanding and ability to report on group pace and future group need areas.
    Assist in development of appropriate group production goals for the sales team.
    Achieve 100% of group sales revenue goals through individual and team efforts.


    Education and Experience:


    Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferredProven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar role.

    Strong leadership and team management skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    In-depth knowledge of sales principles and practices.
    Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
    Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
