    Description
    Gridiron IT is seeking an IT Support Specialist to support a Federal client on a remote basis.
    Provide full-time Technology Support during normal operating hours. Occasional, non-scheduled work may be required outside of normal operating hours. Help Desk with service available during 8:00 AM to 6:00 Eastern Standard Time, Monday through Friday.

    analyze the symptoms, assess the impact, severity, and priority of the incident; and attempt to resolve the problem during the initial customer contact.

    Help Desk Support will log all trouble tickets into a service desk management solution.

    Provide recommendations for mitigation of technical risks resulting from sustainment activities in accordance with the Government's approved Risk Management Program.

    Provide systems support including bug fixes and minor enhancements. Provide user support to include retrieving data from the different tables as requested thru Query Management Facility (QMF). Assist with troubleshooting applications, printer set-up and load/maintain tables when requested by the users. Support the maintenance of interface with the Central Server. Maintain system functionality which allows the import of incoming Data via Spreadsheets or other flat file import methods. Provide limited (local) Windows system administration including server hardware administration support, Windows workstation administration. Provide support for hardware, software maintenance, service and upgrades; provide hardware replacement. Perform equipment inventory and coordinate with Asset Management for IT assets. Receive, install and return equipment.

    DOD 8570 IAT- II certification required.

    Six (6) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, three (3) of which are specialized in Information Processing and involve a range of hardware/software solutions,

    • two (2) of which are concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, diagnosing problems, and training customers in the use of software and hardware.
