American Heritage Credit Union, a $4.8+ billion credit union, has an immediate opening for a Information Systems Support Specialist I.This position provides an ultimate level of service to the members and employees of American Heritage Credit Union.

This service will be delivered via actions, accountability and with integrity. This position performs processing using Symitar functions and troubleshoots software and hardware problems for users.


REQUIREMENTS/DUTIES:

  • Maintain BytePro, PCFS, and Closer's Choice system databases, printers, and software.
  • Perform daily Symitar functions including ACH processing, share draft processing, MasterCard processing, STAR processing. Set up all overnight processing.
  • Maintain Symitar system databases, printers and software.
  • Interview user to collect information about problem and lead user through diagnostic procedures to determine source of problem.
  • Handle problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and followup for routine user problems, referring more complex problems to technical staff.
  • Setup and perform the monthend process.
  • Order paper and other supplies for the information systems department.
  • Maintain constant communication with STAR/InterPro system.
  • Set up and run computergenerated reports.
  • Maintain constant communication with thirdparty vendors (e.g. FIS, Interpro, Symitar).
  • Maintain current hardware/servers (e.g. Online Teller, Vysym, Symitar).
  • Create and maintain documentation.
  • Ability to work offsite or remotely without direct support.
  • Remain current and knowledgeable of all aspects of local, state, and federal regulations that affect the credit union.
  • Ensure work area is clean, secure, and well maintained in accordance with AMHFCU's Clean Desk Policy.
  • Remain active in the University Program of American Heritage Federal Credit Union and complete the position's present curriculum as outlined in the Online University by completing the following
  • Credit Union annual required compliance training, the Online University required coursework within assigned timeline, and the supplemental courses listed in the Online University Curriculum within the prescribed timeline.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • At least two years of experience of troubleshooting PC issues involving hardware and software problems. Experience with Microsoft products also required.
  • Work requires advanced working knowledge of Symitar, MS Office, MS Project & Windows.
  • Work requires extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software, particularly Microsoft and Symitar products.

EDUCATION

  • Requires education equivalent to two years of college or an Associate's degree in a computer related field, or equivalent work experience.

WORK HOURS

  • Full time position
  • Must be available rotating evening and Saturday hours.
