    Our mission is to build and maintain an internal service that allows our marketing teams to build dynamic promotional campaigns to drive engagement and award patrons on theScore Bet platform.

    By receiving user-driven event data from other internal services, we're able to evaluate and award patrons based on their in-app experience.

    About the WorkAs a key member of our Promotions team you will:

    Work with our preferred technology stack (Elixir, Phoenix, Phoenix LiveView, Kafka, gRPC, PostgreSQL)Design and build APIs and Kafka producers/consumers,Participate in and at times lead the design, architecture, and delivery of new features in a collaborative agile environment.

    Collaborate with other teams and various stakeholders to build integrations with other internal services.
    Setting up monitoring and alerting with DataDog, Bugsnag, PagerDuty, SplunkProviding technical leadership within the team.

    Participate in our team's on-call rotationWork on a service that processes thousands of events a second as part of an app that handles 10,000's of concurrent users.

    This is a technical leadership position and requires an ownership mentality, not just great coding skills.

    Ability to bring a project from conception to production, including leading early design, working with Product and others to make it a reality, and setting up dashboards/monitoring.

    Experience with modern web frameworks, API development, and automated testing.
    Familiarity and experience with relational databases.
    Knowledge of application performance, scaling patterns, and troubleshooting in production environments.
