Position Summary
Primary Responsibilities
- Distribution
- Achieve and maintain optimum new and existing product distribution
- Ensure that store inventory levels meet consumer demand within all targeted accounts.
- Correct all outofstock and insufficient inventory level instances.
- Ensure all authorized inventory and retail pricing are correct in the account's order system.
- Identify and categorize retail opportunities for the development of targeted accounts.
- Ensure that products are equal and competitively priced.
- Ensure that all authorized planogram/schematics of are compliant.
- Effectively communicate all chain issues regarding distribution, pricing, or planograms to supervisor.
- Merchandising
- Optimize instore presence and visibility of products.
- Secure sufficient selling space for products.
- Ensure that all products are properly rotated and all unsalable products are removed and replaced.
- Ensure all products are clean, faced, visible, and stocked.
- Place appropriate point of sale signage in a highly visible location.
- Ensure all chainauthorized products are merchandised per authorized planogram/schematic.
- Comply with required warning plans and all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Promotions
- Present and sell promotional discounts and promotional displays as authorized.
- Utilize temporary price reductions for consumer awareness and stimulate additional sales.
- Implement and audit all authorized store promotions.
- Account Penetration & Trade Relations
- Provide professional representation to instill customer confidence and promote positive company image and reputation within the assigned territory and business community.
- Provide effective territory coverage as directed by immediate supervisor.
- Achieve assigned territory coverage and call frequency.
- Maintain required sales materials.
- Develop professional working relationships with key personnel in the trade.
- Properly address customer inquiries promptly and escalate them if necessary.
- Identify and categorize all new retail opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Participate in local, regional, or national trade shows, conventions, and special events as directed by your supervisor.

Experience
2-3 years of experience as a successful sales representative in the retail environment.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business, or equivalent, relevant work experience.
Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and Customer Relationship Management systems preferred.
Pay:
$55, $85,517.59 per year
