    **Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):**

    Analyzes and reviews practices regularly at branch location to ensure compliance with established procedures and policies.

    Encourages sales and promotion activities.

    Coordinates interchange of technical information.

    Assists in consumer relations activity and ensures customer satisfaction.

    Assists in developing and coordinating branch operation programs and activities for the Service and Parts departments.

    Monitors and analyzes warranty activity and expense to conform to Company service policies, procedures and guidelines.

    Makes sales contact with dealers, customers and users to promote Valley, product, parts and services.

    Interprets and transmits best practices for policies and procedure throughout the branch operation and coordinates implementation between departments and other branch locations.

    Responsible for developing and documenting new policies and procedures for presentations to the Executive team for use at certain branch locations.

    Informs executive management of business trends, competitive situations, market conditions and presents recommendations to deal with changing circumstances.

    Establish an open communication employees to ensure consistency throughout the company.

    Responsible for the hiring of personnel within the branch.

    Works with Executive team as a liaison for the branch.

    Performs other duties as assigned.

    **Qualifications & Skills:**

    Minimum 3-5 years experience in parts and service operations.

    Must have experience managing staff.

    Product knowledge.

    Thorough knowledge of warranty policies and procedures.

    Ability to effectively train and develop subordinates and develop dealer personnel.

    High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others, motivate employees and elicit work output.

    Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.

    **Education & Experience:**

    High School diploma plus technical training or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

    Minimum 3-5 years experience in management operations

    Completion of recommended Company training programs.

    Physical Requirements:

    This position requires long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. This position may also require doing some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.

    **Supervisory Responsibilities:**

    Directly supervises one or more employees in the parts and service department. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training new employees; disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving issues. Other Criteria:

    Complies with Company policies and procedures.

    Performs job safely with respect to others, property and to individual safety.

    Works effectively with others in the Company to encourage teamwork and productivity.
