The Employment Development Department is seeking a committed, independent, and organized individual to be part of a leadership team committed to supporting the Department mission, vision and strategic goals.


Under the general direction of the Division Chief of the UI Integrity and Accounting Division (IAD), the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II) has management and supervisory responsibilities for the Fraud Prevention and Detection Group (FPDG).

The SSM II is an important member of the Leadership Team and will actively participate in determining policies, strategies, goals, objectives, and activities for the UI program.

The incumbent plans, organizes, directs, controls, monitors, and evaluates the operational and project responsibilities associated with detecting, deterring, and preventing fraud.


The incumbent is a member of the IAD Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and is also a resource, liaison and central coordination point for Department, Branch and Division assignments.

Working Conditions

Work will be conducted at EDD office located in Rancho Cordova and remotely. Free Parking.
