As the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility Program Manager, you will serve a critical role in incorporating innovative approaches and driving continuous improvement, while improving outcomes for the state workforce.


Under the general direction of the Chief of the Office of Civil Rights (C.E.A.), the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Program Manager is responsible for providing supervision and program management for DEIA unit.

The DEIA unit will provide strategic guidance and direction to state departments on increasing diversity in state service through hiring, training, reasonable accommodations, and data transparency.

The DEIA Program Manager will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and continuously improving CalHR's DEIA Program as well as leading the DEIA team to support departments and state employees build a more inclusive workplace.
