    OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST (ASAALT F):


    Bowhead seeks an Operations Support Specialist to support the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisitions Logistics and Technology (ASA/ALT) contract located in Washington DC.

    The Operations Support Specialist will work closely with ASA/ALT's DASAs, DASM, PEOs and Direct Reporting Units on all directed tasks.


    Additional duties may include:
    Assist in process improvement and facilitate quality improvement efforts.
    Provide in Progress Reviews (IPR), and prepare deliverables up to ASL through OASA(ALT) leadership.
    Assist in preparatory read ahead information, information papers, or memorandums, as required.
    Assist in content and formatting for specified ASA(ALT) deliverables, and ensure ASA(ALT) equities are addressed as required.
    Assist with strategic communication messaging between ASA(ALT) leadership and other HQDA principals

    Capture, synthesize and summarize key points from executive meetings, working groups and internal meetings, translating insights into impactful and succinct narratives for information or action.

    Assist the lead action officer with various strategic initiatives, tracking, managing, and editing TMT taskers, as necessary, to ensure proper execution of tasked deliverables between ASA(ALT) internal and external stakeholders.

    Assist in the facilitation of ASA(ALT) Leadership Offsite Meetings and synchronization of OASA(ALT) efforts.
    Requirements

    BA/BS, advanced degree preferred
    One to three years of professional experience
    Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
    Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. To receive and respond to instructions/assignments, must be able to read, write and speak English.
    Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team


    SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
    Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.

    Applicants may be subject to a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening and/or random drug screen, and must follow UICs Non-DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program requirements.

    If the position requires, an applicant must pass a pre-employment criminal background history check. All post-secondary education listed on the applicants resume/application may be subject to verification.

    Where driving may be required or where a rental car must be obtained for business travel purposes, applicants must have a valid driver license for this position and will be subject to verification.

    In addition, the applicant must pass an in-house, online, driving course to be authorized to drive for company purposes.
