    Role Description

    The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing all aspects of financial management including maintaining the general ledger, financial reporting, budgeting, and tax review, as well as performing month-end closing activities.

    The role will support all areas of the business with reporting, analysis, and project management.

    Key Responsibilities
    Prepare and review daily general ledger account reconciliations and analysis to ensure the company's financial records are accurate
    Support the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement close
    Prepare budgets and forecasts including analysis
    Provide accounting perspective and assistance on both prospective and ongoing projects
    Support the implementation of a new accounting and ERP system

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, CPA preferred
    3+ years of experience in accounting or related roles
    Advanced knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and analysis
    Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software
    Excellent communication and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and within a team environment
    Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task in a fast paced entrepreneurial environment
    Experience in the franchise industry or with multi-unit retail locations is a plus
