Description
Senior Accountant Job Description
as a Senior Accountant, you will manage the production of financial reports and will analyze and manage the filing of these reports.
Additionally, you will create and analyze cash flow statements, supervise and guide accounting personnel in daily tasks, among other duties.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreation and analysis of financial statements, including Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements and preparation of variance analysis.
Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to external auditors.
Responsible for full accounting cycle, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue and expenses.
Responsible for Cash Credit Report.
Manage Banking relationship.
Responsible for vendors account reconciliation, statements upload, adjustments and/or credits for all vendors.
Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the CFO in running audits.
Reconcile monthly accounts to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenanceResponsible for reconciliations review, adjustments and amortizations, trials & final reports and balance sheet ratios.
Creation of yearly forecast, adjustments to the forecast, review last year information, and monthly and yearly budget.Responsible for sales tax report and reconciliation and paymentManage 365 financial module.
Implement process improvements and internal controls.
Oversight of the accounting team.
Responsible for bank reconciliation.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree required.
Master's degree a plus.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
