- Creates an inviting atmosphere for guests at the Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana, focusing on building and maintaining guest relations and mentoring team members for excellent guest service.
- Hires, trains, motivates, evaluates, and supervises staff to ensure they have the necessary guidance and resources to meet objectives.
- Ensures high standards of guest service through training procedures and maintains department objectives, standards, guidelines, and budget.
- Monitors food purchasing, staffing, preparation, and inventory to control costs and waste while maintaining budget adherence.
- Evaluates food preparation for quality and consistency, develops menu changes, and oversees kitchen equipment operation.
- Participates in meetings, maintains cleanliness, and performs other assigned tasks.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive food preparation experience or completion of a culinary arts degree with 4 years of experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Must meet all necessary licensing, certification, background check, and drug screening requirements.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and available to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations, safety practices, food preparation, kitchen operations, budgeting, and financials.
- Excellent communication skills, flexibility in scheduling, ability to deliver excellent service, and professionalism in various environments.
- Ability to monitor cash flow, control assets, schedule effectively, and ensure quality of food items.
