    Our mission-driven team is seeking a bold and dynamic Facilities Project Coordinator who is fueled by problem-solving, continuously curious, and driven to understand our world, science/technology, and life itself, for the benefit of all on Earth and beyond.

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities will include ensuring all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and within budgetWorking with facility management to develop department and project budgetsBudget tracking and analysisProcess purchase request, track vendor funding and prepare reportsVerify final invoice pricing in a timely mannerMaintains files on work orders, proposals, and department filesOversee assigned projects from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, to closureDevelop schedules for all facility projects and work with project managers to keep schedules currentAssist in the monitoring and assessment of vendor performanceProvide facilities helpdesk services and monitor internal/external workflow for all facilities projects to ensure consistent quality of service and work productProduce and maintain accurate, neat, and effective CAD drawings for all facilitiesAssist with the planning and implementation of personnel and equipment movesEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with projects architects, engineers, and contractorsQUALIFICATIONS:

    Education & ExperienceBachelors degree or equivalent experience, education, and training1 year of experience in the facilities, construction, or design industryProficiency in Microsoft office, AutoCAD, Facility Management Software and Microsoft ProjectEssential FunctionsWork Environment:
    Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
    RequirementsMust be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
    Management has the prerogative to select at any level for which the position is advertised.
    Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
    Physical RequirementsWork may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time). May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs.

    (5% of the time).Equipment and MachinesStandard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).SkillsA self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environmentDirect experience with department and project budgetsExperience with management of project schedulesExperience in submitting purchase requests and tracking project fundingAbility to work in a fast pace, dynamic environment, under possible extended work hours and tight deadlinesAttention to detail, ability to see interactions with other systems to avoid problemsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.

    Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and presentations.
