    Software Product Company with over three decades of industry experience is hiring an experienced Channel Sales Manager for the South America / LATAM region. Bilingual in Portuguese and Spanish a must.

    Responsible for delivering aggressive revenue targets in LATAM through key channel sales activities. The Channel Sales Manager will champion maintaining customer relationships, new business development, product introduction, and business maintenance through direct actions and the reporting team. The role may work with end users, channel partners, or strategic accounts. The Channel Sales Manager consults with the Channel Director and VP of LATAM Sales in the creation and execution of Sales strategies and forecasts for the LATAM region.

    Responsibilities:


    • Develops and executes sales budget, forecast, and strategic plans for channels in the LATAM region.


    • Supports and delivers Marketing programs and coordinates campaigns and programs with internal resources, partners, organizations, and customers.


    • Develops and maintains key relationships with partners and prospects through disciplined selling techniques.


    • Recruits, develops, and optimizes individual performance within the Sales team, which may include Sales Account Managers and Sales Engineers. Assesses skill, effort, and effectiveness among team members and employs corrective/supportive activities as required. Ensures and supports the use of effective sales techniques throughout the team.


    • Assists regional sales directors in setting individual account strategies, performance objectives, and channel sales programs.
    • Develops and maintains effective communications and liaison relationships with staff and field personnel that support achieving regional and corporate goals effectively.


    • Liaises with regional sales directors to ensure a consistent, unified face for the customer and sales personnel.


    • Analyzes, evaluates, and recommends improving sales methods, organization, coverage, and expenses.


    • Evaluates market needs and trends and coordinates with marketing, engineering, product management, and corporate functions to best serve the market and implement the right partner program according to LATAM market needs.


    • Substantial travel within the LATAM region and occasionally beyond is required.

    Education Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree required. MBA desirable.

    Experience:


    • Proven ability to develop and deliver strategic sales plans in the market, implement partner programs, selling large-investment products.


    • Relevant technical competency in network products to enable recognition and competent discussion of issues and solutions.


    • Track record of exceptional and consistent quota achievement through region management.


    10+ years of relevant field sales experience in computer networking/network management technologies.


    5+ years leading a successful Channel Sales Team, strong motivator, and creative/effective coach.


    • Demonstrated communication skills focusing on effective presentation of the company value proposition.


    • Substantial travel within the LATAM region and occasionally beyond is required
