    Description

    Programme Director / Delivery Lead

    $175,000 - $220,000

    MUST BE LOCATED IN TRI STATE AREA / EASTERN TIME ZONE

    Morpheus are currently partnered with a leader in the Generative AI and LLM consulting space. With huge growth over the past year and a steep increase in LLM and Gen AI projects they are looking to add program director to oversee 10+ projects and ensure deliverables are met across all project managers. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Program Manager to establish and lead our Program Management Office (PMO).

    The ideal candidate will oversee project managers and be responsible for the management of complex custom software development implementations. As a key leader within our technology department, the Program Manager will ensure that our user-centric products and solutions not only meet customer expectations but also continue to advance our business objectives through effective program oversight.

    What You Get to Do Every Day (Responsibilities)

    • Establish the PMO, setting up its strategy, processes, and procedures to align with organizational goals.
    • Manage and mentor a team of project managers, providing guidance in PM best practices.
    • Oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent complex software development projects, ensuring successful implementation within scope, budget, and timelines.
    • Collaborate with product, development, and other cross-functional teams to influence and drive the execution of future features for our products.
    • Monitor program and project performance metrics, providing regular status reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives within the PMO, incorporating feedback and best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
    • Serve as a senior escalation point for project issues and risks, steering programs back on course when necessary.
    • Cultivate strong relationships with internal teams, external stakeholders, and clients, ensuring alignment and satisfaction across all parties.
    • Drive strategic planning sessions, resource allocation, and portfolio management activities within the PMO.
    • Implement and manage change control processes, decision logs, and documentation throughout the program lifecycle.
    • Other duties as required.

    What You Bring to the Role (Requirements)

    • Minimum of 8 years of project/program management experience, with at least 3 years in a program management role.
    • PMP certification or advanced PM qualifications.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing complex custom software development projects.
    • Mastery of Agile methodologies with a track record of acting as a Scrum Master and Agile coach.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering executive-level presentations.
    • Robust analytical and decision-making abilities.
    • Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and building high-performing teams.
    • Familiarity with change management processes and a proven ability to navigate and lead through change.
