The Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program (HVRP) is a workforce development programdesigned to assist Homeless Veterans to find employment, vocational training, and housing.
- Train, supervise, and support staff of up to seven employees in their daily responsibilities
- Facilitate staff meetings to discuss program business and keep staff aware of company policies and initiatives
- Prepare quarterly reports regarding program performance of planned goals.
- Devise and implement strategies to achieve quarterly planned goals.
- Evaluate staff performance periodically and provide support and training for staff when needed.
- Identify potential employers and trainers with a focus on developing employment opportunities for the program participants.
- Maintain program client placement quota of 28 participants placed into employment every quarter with an emphasis on employment retention.
- Keep abreast of employer satisfaction by contacting employers regularly to provide placement followup as well as followup to ensure participant satisfaction.
- Recruit, assess, place, and conduct employment readiness training when necessary.
- Build relationships with participants to build bridges to future longterm job retention.
- Collect employment verifications from employers, participants, and/or services (i.e. Work Number, etc.).
- Provide Case Management support to help participants eliminate barriers that can hinder
- Research periodic reports of employment opportunities and employment trends in the labor market.
- Prepare written reports on a weekly basis of job development and placement activities.
- Coordinate communityrelated events/activities; Career & Resources Fairs and mass hiring events
Qualifications:
- Veteran preferred
- Must have managerial experience, in workforce development and human services field.
- Must be able to meet deadlines and meet quarterly performance goals.
- Must build and maintain relationships with service providers that assist the HVRP target population.
- Must build and maintain relationships with employers to provide employment opportunities for veteran participants.
- Experience with today's veterans' services and issues.
- Experience with veteran benefits counseling preferred.

Pay:
$60, $65,000.00 per year
