    We are currently hiring a Brokerage Operations Coordinator to join our team onsite in Richmond, VA in our beautiful new office building. This opportunity involves organization, accuracy, high attention to detail and proactive communication. We are extremely collaborative and give you the processes and tools to be successful at Kinsale. You need a strong work ethic, ability to multitask, curiosity, tenacity, and a good rapport with people.

    A typical day as a Brokerage Operations Coordinator...

    • Manage Kinsale Surplus Lines Tax Form Inbox daily
    • Enter Kinsale SL Tax information in the Tax Utility for reporting
    • Work with Marketing team to send out bulk emails to Brokers for Kinsale Surplus Lines Tax Forms needed to report to the state
    • Manage and maintain Kinsale quarterly and annual surplus lines tax reports
    • Point of contact for processing Kinsale underwriting Rush Non-Renewal requests
    • Run the Kinsale Letters Utility weekly to ensure letters are sent out according to state guidelines
    • Work with Compliance to ensure required state tax reports are accurate and submitted per their deadlines
    • Manage Aspera SL Tax submissions to the states per their respective deadlines/requirements
    • Work with Aspera underwriter's and agents to ensure all required tax documentation is obtained for submission
    • Assist with identifying/implementing process efficiencies where opportunities exist
    • Update Aspera Surplus Lines Standards of Procedures as processes change
    • Provide tax inbox and submission production monthly to management for analysis
    • Work with accounting on Aspera monthly reconciliation reports
    A successful candidate has...
    • Two to five years of data entry or related experience required
    • Two to five years of related insurance experience preferred
    • High degree of accuracy and efficiency in data entry
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Detail-oriented with initiative and ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
