    Job Title:
    Administrative Operations and Accounting Analyst


    Location:
    Dallas, Austin, Oklahoma City, or remote (willing to travel 10% of the time)


    Job Description:


    The Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the CFO and outsourced accounting function during roll-up/M&A activities, with responsibilities spanning process optimization, administrative operations management, basic accounting tasks, data integrity, and M&A integration support.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, administrative operations, accounting fundamentals, M&A integration, and data management, with a demonstrated ability to drive results in a dynamic environment.


    Key Responsibilities:

    Process Optimization:
    Lead process optimization initiatives across administrative functions, including finance, HR, procurement, and IT.
    Analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions to streamline operations and improve productivity.
    Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to drive consistency and efficiency.

    Basic Accounting Tasks:
    Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, expense reporting, and vendor payments.
    Support month-end and year-end close activities, such as reconciliations and journal entries.
    Maintain accurate financial records and assist with financial reporting as needed.

    Data Integrity and Reporting:
    Review and validate financial data inputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    Verify the integrity of data sources and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
    Identify opportunities to enhance data integrity through system improvements and process optimization.
    Provide training and support to staff to facilitate adoption of new processes and systems.
    Foster a culture of data stewardship and accountability throughout the organization.

    Project Management:
    Lead cross-functional projects to improve administrative processes, accounting procedures, and systems.
    Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans to achieve desired outcomes.
    Coordinate project teams, manage timelines and budgets, and communicate project status updates to stakeholders.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. CPA or CMA certification a plus.
    3+ years of experience in process optimization, administrative operations, or accounting roles.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
    Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative environment.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders.
    Knowledge of accounting principles and experience with basic accounting tasks.
    Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices in administrative operations management.
