    Description
    The AP AR Accountant will maintain accounting records for the company.

    The primary functions consist of accounts payable, support for accounts receivable, general ledger journal entries and analysis, and other tasks related to the operation of our business.

    Accounts Payable functions, including coding, data entry, new supplier setup, and processing invoices. Ensure all invoices are entered correctly and processed daily. Ensure all invoices are correctly verified for errors and pre-approved for payment by department managers. Upload invoices and post transactions to an appropriate GL ledger account. Process weekly settlement run payments. Reconcile vendor statements. Ensure online payments are made and corresponding journal entries are recorded in a timely manner.

    Accounts Receivable, including providing daily bank deposit details support to Revenue so they can allocate the deposits correctly in WD.

    Then posting the deposits and/or returns in WD. Ensure expense reports are being submitted in a timely manner. Generates checks and EFT payments along with reconciling payment reports. Monitor and respond to emails in AP, AR, and Expense Report inboxes. Prepare journal entries and accruals. Manages the company credit cards. Analyze issues and provide ad-hoc reporting using advanced Excel skills. Assist with month-end closing process. Assist with audits. Perform various ad hoc duties as assigned.

    Education Completed:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting. 2+ years in accounts payable preferred.


    Background & Expertise:
    Experience working with a small team and willing to assist in various duties as needed. Ability to learn quickly and use accounting knowledge to make decisions. Strong initiative and ability to work independently. Attention to details and ability to meet deadlines. Strong customer service skills. Ability to problem solve and think through impacts of your work. Time management skills.


    Applicable Experience:

    Computer Literacy:
    Demonstrate Advanced understanding of MS Excel is required. Intermediate knowledge of all other MS Office products is preferred. Workday and Salesforce ERP experience is required.
