    Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.


    • 15 years of experience in sales, and sales leadership experience in advertising, online media, digital media, or technology/internet industries.
    • MBA or advanced business degree.
    • Experience building relationships with C-level executives.
    • Ability to grow and lead a Sales team.
    • Operational discipline to ensure appropriate focus on the aspects of the business most critical to driving sustained growth.

    The New Business Sales (NBS) team plays a critical role in Google's GCS Sales organization and is responsible for a substantial portion of Google's advertising business growth across the Globe.

    As Director, you'll be responsible for leading a high performing sales team who are responsible for attracting new advertising customers to Google throughout the Americas region with teams based in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.

    This is achieved by engaging with prospective customers and developing digital advertising solutions that meet their growth goals and business objectives.

    You will work closely with key stakeholders in Marketing, Sales Finance, Product, Large Customer Sales, GCS Sales, and our central sales operations teams.

    Our Google Customer Solutions (GCS) team of entrepreneurial, enthusiastic and client-focused members are the "human face" of Google, helping entrepreneurs both individually and broadly build their online presence and grow their businesses.

    In collaboration, we create and implement business plans broadly for all types of businesses.
    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $218,000-$313,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.

    The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations.

    Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

    Develop and transform our New Business Sales Acquisitions strategy to attract new advertisers across the Americas to Google Ads.


    • Attract, develop, and inspire a high performing team of people managers and full time sellers focused on delivering seamless experiences for high potential clients.
    • Partner with our Go-to-Market/Central Revenue teams to analyze market trends, team performance, and client performance to bring in new customers to Google.
    • Establish partnerships with internal, external, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the team is bringing in high quality growth for Google.
