Smoothstack is currently recruiting for a contract Senior Security Management Specialist hybrid position in Manassas, VA. This position will conduct work to implement enterprise vulnerability management standards and processes in ServiceNow utilizing their Vulnerability Response (VR) Module. You will build an understanding of vulnerability management and software management processes, related controls, and key roles and responsibilities. Create and maintain documents and flowcharts that illustrate those processes. You will identify solutions to improve vulnerability management automations and coordinate the effort to implement those solutions. In addition, you will develop an understanding of different sources of inventory, security requirements, project tracking, evaluating security exceptions, risk scenarios, and proposing solutions. You need to understand the data relationship between different sources to identify data quality issues and propose solutions. You will perform tool configurations, customizations, metrics definition, analysis, and reporting.

Qualified candidates will have the following experience to be considered:

Minimum 6-9+ years experienc
eUnderstanding of ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, and V
RStrong experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response AND ServiceNow Vulnerability Management module
sUnderstanding of control frameworks such as ISAE, PCI-DSS, ESMIG, etc
.Experience within the security automation domain and industry standard methodologie
