    Our Fitchburg area client is looking to add a Receiving and Inventory clerk to their growing team. The primary responsibilities of the position are to receive packages, support efforts to maintain organization and accuracy of the stockroom/inventory work area.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Accept delivery of authorized items
    • Receive incoming freight
    • Verify, receive, and shelve inventory by ensure checks for accuracy: quantity, quality, and cross-checking paperwork details with products received
    • Prepare, organize, and put away deliveries in proper locations
    • Rotate older inventory forward
    • Label dates on all items for easy review
    • Work with Purchasing to review scrap requests/tracking
    • Assist completion of physical inventory counts (yearly and periodically)
    • Have inventory accounted for in computer system to show demo stock through regular data entry

    Qualifications:

    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong ability to follow up in timely manner
    • Comfortable navigating computer software and Microsoft Office programs
    • Works well independently
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, analytical and problem-solving skills

    Preferred Skills and Experience:

    • High School or Equivalent
    • Experience in inventory, stockroom, receiving
