We're looking for an ambitious, energetic
Omnichannel Marketing Analyst to join our rapidly growing team at Grand Leisure, an industry-leading supplier of outdoor patio furniture, accessories, and solar lighting in the North American mass retail market.

With U.S.

headquarters located in Madison, Wisconsin, we are a small(ish) team of sales, design, and marketing aficionados, looking for someone who has the drive and energy to help us stay at the top of an increasingly saturated (and booming) industry, and to support our data and analytics strategy for both our brick-and-mortar and e-commerce divisions.


We are looking for someone who is located in the Madison, WI area ideally, or someone who is willing to relocate to the area.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Data Analysis: Conduct detailed analyses of retail comp sales, retailer inventory management, and gap analysis to inform product flow adjustments, promotional strategies, and price optimizations. This includes leveraging web scraping tools for competitive insights.

Analytics Automation and Dashboard Creation: Develop and maintain automated reporting systems and dashboards using advanced tools such as Power BI and QlikView for dynamic visualization, and Excel,.CSV manipulation, Python, and SQL to manage and analyze large datasets and provide real-time insights into sales, inventory needs, and market trends to the sales and marketing teams. Utilize Tableau and/or other visualization tools to make data accessible and self-service for weekly strategic decisions to the Executive Management team. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all marketing analytics platforms.

Market Research and Micro-Marketing Strategies: Oversee market research deployment and analysis, utilizing findings to make micro-marketing recommendations tailored to regional or store levels to optimize market share capture rates.

Global Economic Analysis & Big Data Integration: Employ advanced big data tools and technologies to thoroughly analyze global economic trends and evaluate their impact on the company's market positions. Consolidate and interpret large datasets from various sources, including international market data, economic reports, and industry trends, to anticipate shifts in consumer behavior and market demand. Use econometric models through sophisticated statistical software to derive actionable insights, helping to shape strategic decisions in response to global economic dynamics.

IT and Digital System Management: Coordinate the integration and management of IT systems including e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce/Wordpress, CRM systems, and retailer portals. Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies and digital tools to enhance analytical capabilities and marketing strategies.

Cybersecurity, Data Management & Storage: Spearhead the implementation and management of comprehensive IT security protocols in coordination with global HQ. Conduct continuous monitoring for IT threats and vulnerabilities, focusing on safeguarding employees, retail partners, and end consumers. Ensure the security and integrity of all internal data, manage digital assets, and oversee the use of storage solutions like One Drive and Dropbox for maintaining the Material Library, SOPs, Test Reports, Design and Quote Archives, and Passwords, to protect and efficiently access company's vital information.

Infrastructure Management:


  • Integrate 3PL operating systems (Freight, Warehouses, Customer Service), manage ecommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Amazon, and Wayfair), Retailer Portal Management (Spark, Syndigo, Salsify, Commercehub), oversee networks, servers, and other IT infrastructure.

Stakeholder Engagement, Collaboration, and Leadership: Forge strong collaborations with internal teams and external partners, delivering insights and training on data-driven marketing strategies and emerging technologies. Align closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to craft a unified data strategy that propels business goals. Provide leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and team members, guiding them in analytics best practices and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on both B2B and D2C channels.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker, Power BI, etc) and analytics platforms. (3+ years)
  • Proficient to expert level in Excel, Python, and SQL, and a familiarity with SAS, R, and other data analysis tools, with experience in automating data processes and creating dynamic dashboards, with a strong understanding of statistical analysis methods. (2+ Years)
