JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the manufacture of quality products, on-time, and in an efficient manner through the effective management of the direct labor sector of the Company.

Manages and monitors all phases of the production process, ensuring compliance with established procedures, manufacturing standards, and approved processes.
Plans, schedules, and coordinate departmental activities to meet customer demands with on-time delivery.
Determines production head count needs; re-allocates existing personnel or requests additional resources as needed.
Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; ensuring employees are trained properly for their respective function and are aware of the QMS and related procedures governing the manufacture of aerospace products.
Accomplishes staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; works in conjunction with Human Resources on coaching, counseling, disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
Maintains a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all state and federal regulations, Company policies and procedures.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Maintains and protects the confidentiality of the Company's information and products.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:

A high school diploma is required; a two/four-year college (Associate / Bachelor's) degree, Trade or Technical school certificate or diploma is preferred.

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years of direct experience is required.

Skills:

Technical capacity, problem solving/analysis, leadership, project management, initiative, time management, and communication proficiency
